Wine Basics - A Visual Guide to Winemaking and Wine Appreciation

In connection with my new job at Navean Wines Maldives, I get to teach about wine for the first time. For once this is not much of an “Article” but rather an overview of winemaking, with an emphasis on History, Terroir and on the different techniques that built the richness and diversity of winemaking today.

This aims to help you, through visuals and photos, get a better understanding of what happens behind the scenes in the vineyard and wineries during the different production steps.

I am well aware that I might have skipped a step or two but this PowerPoint is destined to young wine enthusiasts that might not need too many details to enjoy wine.
